WEEK 1 : MY PRACTICUM JOURNEY HAS STARTED !

 

ASSALAMUALAIKUM AND HI EVERYONE

Today is the first day of my Semester 7 which is my Practicum journey. I will be teaching these class throughout 3 months :

English Year 3 Pintar

Here will be my responsibility throughout the practicum :

1. Advisory Teacher of Sukan Badminton

2. Advisory Teacher of Tunas Kadet Remaja Sekolah

3. Advisory Teacher of English Panel




I will try my best to hold the position as well as possible !




WEEK 1

MONDAY (15 AUGUST 2022)

On my first day after the self-report session at the school office together with GPK 1, I was asked to relief class 3 Pintar from 8:10 - 9:10 AM following their English teacher going to send the girls' handball team to the district level. Then, at 11:00 - 12:00 PM I went back to  3 Pintar class again following the English subject they have 4 times that day.




TUESDAY (16 AUGUST 2022)

On this day, I as the Badminton club's advisory teacher, entered the club's meeting for the first time.




WEDNESDAY (17 AUGUST 2022)

At evening, my first meeting with the Unit Uniform Tunas Kadet Remaja Sekolah was held in the school hall.




THURSDAY (18 AUGUST 2022)

Today, the Sekolahku Sejahtera program was held where it involved one Malaysia and this program was launched simultaneously.












FRIDAY (19 AUGUST 2022)

There is no extra activity slot in this day. So, I go back at 12PM.




SWOT ANALYSIS OF WEEK 1




STRENGTH

  •  Working as a Teacher in SKTDN really makes me feel like a family. All the senior teacher willing to help me when I get some problem when executing new task / programme.


WEAKNESS

  •  No time to execute many programme in one time.


OBSERVATION

  •  I believe the all the position I get must comes with responsibility. Thus, this responsibility can get to more new opportunity to become a great and successful english teacher in future, In Shaa Allah.


THREAD

  •  I must plan my time management wisely at the school.

  SATURDAY (8 OCTOBER 2022) On this day, the National Sports Day Celebration and Children's Cancer Talk were held. And the moment I can't forget the most is when I became an instructor for aerobics that morning. At first I felt very shy, but due to a sense of responsibility I did it anyway. After that, all female teachers participated in a netball match between teachers and students. On this occasion, I took the opportunity to be a goal keeper even though I am not very good at this game. Unexpectedly, the female teacher's team won the netball championship with a lot of points. WEEK 14

  THURSDAY ( 17 NOVEMBER 2022 ) Today, the teachers celebrated in conjunction with my farewell at the end of the practical period by holding a 'potluck' in the teachers' room. All the teachers came to me to say goodbye. Not forgetting the line of administrators who also came to the teacher's room to celebrate me together. There are many dishes of food and drinks brought by the teachers. I'm also not an exception to bringing brownies for a little treat. Coincidentally, it rained very heavily that morning. So I didn't have a chance to say goodbye to all the students. But on my last day there, I also had the opportunity to teach class 3 Pintar as my last class. There were also some students who came to meet me at my desk and gave me gifts and I responded with hugs and words of advice so that they continue to study with excellence. Finally before going back, the teachers gave me a jersey donated by the teachers. WEEK 10

  MONDAY (17 OCTOBER 2022) On this day, a friendly ceremony for players with the national school team of Taman Dusun Nyior. The players also gave words of encouragement and participated in a training session with the SKTDN team. SKTDN is the Negeri Sembilan level champion in the Malaysian Little League tournament.
